Malibu Cricket Club embodies the "melting pot" spirit of Los Angeles.  We are currently represented with members from eleven different countries including a few American-born players to boot.  Social cricket has linked us together in culture and sport.

We rock the traditional red ball, dress in whites and play on natural turf!  How cool is that?  League matches are 25 overs (50 overs total) which is not an all day affair.  

 

The league schedule features morning and / or afternoon matches.  The morning match will start at 9:00 AM and the afternoon match will start around 1:30 PM.  Our spring season starts in April and goes to November or December.

 

We conclude our season playing for the coveted Philip Lynch Cup, named after our dear friend, Philip Lynch!

Our goal for Malibu Cricket is to play the game in the right spirit, to have a sporting but competitive match, all while having a laugh on the pitch.  Afterwards we go to the pub where we eat, drink and shoot the breeze - forgetting our busy lives outside of cricket.
